Loan calculators

Work it out before you commit to it

Five calculators: repayments, extra repayments, borrowing power, a split-loan simulator and Queensland transfer duty. Everything runs on this page — nothing is sent anywhere.

Loan repayments

What your minimum weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments would be for any borrowed amount.

Repayment—
Total paid over the term—
Interest included—

Extra repayments

How much time and interest you save by paying more than the minimum repayment.

Interest saved—
Time saved—
New loan term—
Minimum repayment—

Borrowing power

A rough guide to what you can expect to borrow, based on your income and existing commitments. Only a guide — a consultant does the real assessment.

Indicative borrowing capacity—

Split loan simulator

Splitting a home loan into fixed and variable portions is a hedge against rate moves nobody can predict. See the repayments and total interest under your split.

Combined repayment—
Fixed portion—
Variable portion—
Total interest over the term—

Stamp duty — Queensland transfer duty

Transfer duty adds significantly to the cost of buying a property. This uses the current Queensland Revenue Office schedule.

Indicative transfer duty—
These are guides, not quotes. The calculators use standard repayment arithmetic and the published Queensland duty schedule. They do not take fees, lender conditions, rate changes or duty concessions (such as the home concession) into account, and none of them is an offer of finance. A consultant will do the exact figures for your situation.

After the numbers

A consultant turns a guide figure into a real approval

Bring your calculator numbers in — or nothing at all — and we will do the assessment properly. Free, as always.
